These rooms are generally well lit and if they are not, the ideal would be to install skylights or enlarge the existing openings! Of course, you can supplement the lighting with fixtures such as spotlights or pendant lights depending on the ceiling height.
What colors to use ?
Depending on the surface and the brightness of your room under the roof, the choice of paint will have to be considered. Indeed, if you have a small room, it would be wise to opt for light shades that will gain clarity. On the other hand, if you have a large enough surface, dark shades or wallpapers will be more suitable. You can also play with the colors if you have exposed beams.
Adapt the furniture
It’s hard to know how to furnish a room where the gap between the floor and the ceiling is not even everywhere. You can nevertheless integrate chests of drawers, consoles or cupboards to be integrated into the loft which provide storage space without breaking the volumes. And to optimize the space as much as possible, opt for the tailor-made one as for a cabinet that would go up to the ceiling !
