Can you introduce yourself in a few words ?
Hello ! My name is Capucine, I am 29 years old and I am from the Ardennes. I left the north of France for the sun and this beautiful region 5 years ago. I first settled in Cannes where I have been a liberal nurse for 3 years and have just moved to Nice. I am passionate about photography, blogging and especially travel !

Can you present your blog?
I have been running this Capucineee.com blog for 2 years in parallel with my travel blog Travel-me-happy.com. This blog talks about my passion for travel, my good addresses, my shopping, decoration and well-being favorites. I am also on social networks like Snapchat and Instagram.

What was your reaction during your first visit to Home Store Cannes ?
I was surprised at the size of the shops, there is something for everyone and I was delighted to find my favorite brands like Smeg, Alessi, Villeroy & Boch; Boch, Marinette Saint-Tropez and everything in a showroom style. The store is superb, you can immediately see that there are only quality products and this is the first time that I see a complete offer like this. My first visit lasted 2 hours and the second 3 hours … which is to say that there is a wide variety of products and that I loved it !
What was your favorite product ?
My favorite brand is Smeg. I always dreamed in front of Pinterest to have the collection too because everything is really (too) cute. It is rare to find this range of products in stores and this is the first time that I have seen them in real life! I think I will return to this department soon 😛

You have just moved into a new home: what room are you in a hurry to furnish and decorate ?
The first room I set up is my living room. This is the place where I spend the most time: to work on my blog, to relax and to entertain my friends. Our apartment being Haussmannian style with high ceilings, parquet floors, moldings and cast iron heaters, we wanted to break with this old side. The decoration is a mix of Scandinavian inspiration with decorative objects brought back from all over the world.

What style inspires you for your interior design ?
I am fortunate to travel a lot and observe everything that is going on abroad. I usually get my ideas from coffee shops around the world. I also admit that I love hanging out on Pinterest !
CAPUCINE INSPIRATION : SCANDINAVIAN-TYPE DECORATION.
What are your current decorative desires ?
Right now I want to transform my kitchen which is not to my taste… I want to put vinyl cement tiles on the floor and to make a nice mix between old and modern furniture.
If you were a room in the house, which would you be ?
My room ! I am so active on a daily basis, I work a lot and I am often on the go with the blog that when I come home in the evening I am often exhausted and I have only one desire : to slip into my bed. We just changed the mattress, it’s a budget but it changes your life! I sleep much better and have even more energy !

Is there a decorative object or piece of furniture that you could not part with ?
My travel memories… I have them all over the apartment, they all remind me of a specific moment in my life, an emotion or a meeting. I will not be able to part with it because it allows me to never have the blues when I return from vacation !
